Welcome to Aligned Flow!

I began practicing yoga and therapeutic massage in 1999. As these practices grew up together, I have had the opportunity to work with athletes of many backgrounds as well as people just wanting to feel healthy and resilient in everyday life. It is my highest hope to serve you in helping to create awareness around the physical postures, breathing patterns, and choices that do not serve your ultimate goals so that you can continue to do the sports and activities that you love with purpose.

Aligned Flow® is an 8 limbed approach to the practice of yoga. Pantanjali’s 8 limbs cover the facets of internal and external observances on and off the mat, postures, breathing practice, and meditation which lead to a greater connection to a higher version of Self and to the Divine. The physical practice, instruction, and teacher training are based on therapeutic Iyengar inspired alignment combined with the heat build flowing-with-the-breath sequencing of Vinyasa. Classes include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation. These practical components can be combined and applied to teach gentle/restorative, therapeutic, alignment based vinyasa, as well as heated flow classes from beginner level up to as advanced as your personal practice will support.
